DealRod is an aggregator of daily deal offerings including market leaders Groupon and LivingSocial. DealRod’s subscribers log into their personalized account and set up desired deal offer parameters. DealRod’s algorithms will sort each daily deal site’s offering each day and send the subscriber a single personalized email with deals targeted to their wants. If a subscriber purchases a daily deal originating through DealRod, the company earns a percentage of the revenue received by the deal originating site. DealRod’s focus in the coming months is on building its subscriber list through social media marketing, public relations, and advertising.
