RentSpek is a free app that offers users a less invasive home inspection, allowing renters to grade a property. Using a series of weighted questions derived from actual home inspections, the app prompts the user to look at and log items that they may never have looked at before in an attempt to identify and issues that may pose a risk during their lease. In the end they are provided a grade letting them know the overall quality of the property. With RentSpek you can: - Create a graded Home Inspection, or "Spek" of an apartment or house you are considering renting before signing any lease. - Share the completed Spek with someone (like a roommate or spouse) through email or SMS - Use your smartphone to add pictures to your Spek - See other Speks that have been completed nearby - Convert photos of rental documents into PDF’s & store them for safe keeping. - Take, share & store photos of the move-in & move-out condition to avoid landlord/tenant disputes later.
