Splend is a simple and intuitive way to share the cost of life's necessities and luxuries in a few simple steps. We've built a mobile platform that allows cost splitting among a group of individuals and aggregates funds to the recipient in a single payment on behalf of the users. Roommates and colleagues invite friends to a group in Splend and the users can then create transactions with the ability to input details about the bill, users involved, and how it should be split. Splend keeps track of declines and approvals and then, once everyone approves, processes payments for anyone involved (transaction is dissolved if a user rejects). While we aggressively test through closed-beta, Splend will allow users to transact with rent and utility providers only that must also go through onboarding and approval.
