About
Iroquois Valley Farms LLC was formed in 2007 in Iroquois County, Illinois as the first farmland company in the United States to directly connect investors with farmers through long term land tenancies that support organic farm business. Offering a unique corporate and indefinitely scalable opportunity to benefit from the production of healthy and nutritious foods, the company has purchased or committed funds for over 1,600 acres of Great Lakes/Midwest region farmland during its’ first seven years of operations. Most recently funds have been committed for new farms in Michigan, Illinois and New York — all for young farmers expanding their organic foods and dairy production. These purchases, when closed, will sum to approximately $7 million of new farmland (10 farms) acquired under the company’s Young Farmer Land Access Program established in 2012.
