The Fund’s mission is to acquire, develop, and manage technology-related real estate. We target strategically located properties in economically distressed areas that contain technology infrastructure that is mission critical to IT operations of institutions and corporate enterprise data center users. Our potential tenants include several small and medium corporations as well as the information technology departments of government institutions, e-commerce platforms, big data users, blockchain applications, and financial service companies. These centers allow data users increased cyber security, storage capacity, and the ability to access massive computational power at a fraction of the cost of owning and operating their own facilities. Sears/K-mart currently has over 2,800 vacant properties throughout the U.S. that were formerly used as retail department stores. For this project, we have identified properties in several U.S. cities.
