Disruptive Environmental Projects

About

The Naru Project uses our Riverponics system to incorporate native biological techniques that exist within natural ecosystems. Today, the majority of our waterways cannot be enjoyed by the public; these once bountiful natural resources have become a highway of waste. The Naru Project seeks to reset our nation's rivers and lakes through phytoremediation and hydroponics, so we can sustain natural elements. Our goal is to implement a mile of Riverponic systems in our waterways by Spring 2016. Our system combines hydroponics and certain plant species in order to create a natural filtration system for rivers, streams and lakes. It allows cities and communities to rehabilitate their waterways without having to invest heavily into infrastructure and renovation. In return, we can sell the switchgrass or hemp (when available) for feedstock to increase our local biofuel production.
